For years pursuing my acting career felt like wandering a dense forest – constantly lost, no visible trail markers and the creeping fear that if I looked back, I’d discover I was walking in circles. I pressed on, honing my craft with classes and workshops, but I remained directionless.
Then, in 2018, I started tracking my auditions. Not only did I book my first union job within just a couple months of this new habit, I felt invigorated by the act of taking control of my career. Each audition brought me a step closer to understanding what I have to offer as an artist, and clarity on how to build that into a successful business. Through overcoming my fear of looking back, I discovered the path that I am forging and have become confident in the way forward.
